It measures 4" in diameter at the opening, 4.5 inches tall, and 8.5 inches wide.  Willow; 3-rod foundation, un-dyed.  This basket may have had a lid at one time.  Its form is that of a granary basket.  Form and use of carrying buckskin thong is more typical of Bannock basketry.  Cat.
