1890-1910. Fort Hall Shoshone-Bannock basket. Large basket, possibly used as a cooking basket. Willow 2-rod foundation with willow wefts. Dyed designs are quite faint. Size is 13.5" diameter at opening, flaring from 9.5" diameter base; 5.25" tall. Personal collection of the author. |
