C.1850-1895.  This is quite a large basket, measuring 18 inches long by 14 inches wide at the opening.  It is 7 inches tall.   According to the collection records, this basket was acquired at the Fort Hall Shoshone Bannock Reservation by Mrs. T.M. Bridges between 1895 and 1905.  Its poor condition serves to illustrate the 3-rod foundation and the weft stitches in the coiling process.  Cat. No. 1970d.  Courtesy Jackson Hole Historical Society.
