C. 1912. Shoshone gauntlets. Probably from Lemhi Shoshone, but not documented. These have been smoke-tanned. 13" long. The 1912 date is beaded in light blue seed beads just above the wrist seam on both gauntlets. Cat. No. 2002.22.8(1&2). Courtesy Idaho History Museum. |
