C.1890-1910. This beaded & brass studded knife sheath came from the Fort Hall Shoshone. The rawhide case is painted. The leather suspension is nearly as long as the sheath body. Compare to E200465 in the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History (NMNH). Cat. No. 23.4025. NMAI. Suitland, MD. |
