C.1890 Shoshone Beaded Bag. Sinew-sewn seed beads on an oblong pouch. Beaded on bag front and flap. The two buckskin drops are strung with large red & blue "pony" beads. Collected on the Wind River Reservation by Emile Granier and accessioned in 1898. Cat. No. E200678. NMNH. Suitland, MD. |
