Gallery of Shoshone-Bannock Beadwork
1950-present
In the modern era, Shoshone-Bannock
beadwork takes on two primary forms. The first is the use of very
realistic floral designs, including the dominant use of the now-famous "Shoshone
Rose." The second is a movement toward geometric designs of triangles,
slanting parallelograms, abstract mountains, etc. There is also a
continuation of the use of figural images, including horses, elk, deer, buffalo,
etc.

beaded items below are arranged in a rough chronological order. Oldest
