C. 1870-1890. Elk or deer hide, porcupine quills, seed beads, dyed plumes, tin
drops, cotton & sinew thread. Dyed porcupine quills and straight
line design are a pre-reservation pattern in Shoshone work. Seed beads, in
"boxed eye" design, are sinew sewn. Seams are cotton sewn. Click
