1998. Wind River Shoshone man's mirror dance bag. Made by Faye Thayer. Smoke-tanned buckskin, tubular beads, glass mirror, cotton thread. Fabric lined interior. Beaded on one side only. Note use of mountain designs, traditional colors, and parallel lines reminiscent of quill work in the 19th century. 7.5" long, 7" wide (not including handle or fringe).
