C. 1870.  Shoshone toy teepee.  Painted rawhide, wilow sticks.   Heigth is over 2 feet.  Diameter is 20."  This is a scale replica of an actual Shoshone teepee, constructed with 17 poles.  Painted blue line along the base, with deer and other pictoral images.  Click here or on the image to see details of the painting.
