C.1890.  Lemhi Shoshone eagle feather headdress with beaded band.  The beaded band uses a traditional mountain design against a blue field.  This headdress is somewhat atypical in that it has the swept-back style more commonly found on the plains and found infrequently among Shoshones.  Click here or on the image to details of beadwork.  On display at the Lemhi County Historical Museum, Salmon, ID.  Courtesy Lemhi County Historical Museum.
